Founder
Olena Smirnova
Olena Smirnova is the founder of Atlas Healthcare Compliance LLC. She brings more than 19 years of experience in government regulatory administration, organizational governance, legal documentation review, regulatory decision-making, and documentation integrity. Throughout her public service career, she exercised independent statutory authority, evaluated legal compliance of organizational filings, maintained documentation standards, and ensured adherence to applicable regulatory requirements.
Her academic background includes graduate-level education in Accounting and Auditing, Public Administration, and Law, complemented by U.S. healthcare compliance training in HIPAA, OSHA, Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI), Patient Rights, Emergency Preparedness, Cultural Competency, and related regulatory topics.
Drawing on this multidisciplinary background, she developed a standardized Governance Framework designed to help Medicare-certified hospice organizations strengthen governance systems, regulatory compliance, documentation integrity, organizational accountability, and survey readiness through practical, non-clinical governance solutions.
